Claremont's distinguishing landmark is the Florida Citrus Tower. It's one of the most famous landmarks in the Orlando area and is 220 feet tall. Visitors used to be able to go up into the tower to look out at the orange groves that surrounded it. Now however, most of the citrus groves are gone and instead have been replaced with neighborhoods and towns. This suburbia is the view that visitors get today.
There's an antenna on top of the tower that reaches to 500 feet above sea level, which makes it the highest observation point in Florida.
There are a number of things to do for visitors to Clermont. Of course first is visiting the Florida Citrus Tower.
Another activity is visiting Clermont's historic village. This part of Clermont has a bunch of buildings and structures that date back to the late 1800s.

Lake Minneola is near Clermont with beachfront and waters that are good for swimming.
